Steven Bond, a well known Melbourne big boat sailor discovered why big boat crew was so hard to find. He found that junior sailing participation rates had dropped and realised a robust junior sailing program was needed.



As a result he founded OziOpti and working closely with Yachting Victoria developed the Tackers program, which is now set to go national.

This program is likely to provide a major boost to sailing at all levels and deserves support across the sailing spectrum.
