Fremantle Boat Show ahead

by Exibit on 7 Feb 2011
Fremantle Boat Show. SW
Between 18-21 February, the Fremantle Boat Show will welcome the very best on-water and on-land displays in the heart of Fremantle’s famous maritime precinct.

Fremantle is a special place renowned for its relaxed and vibrant lifestyle. A port city, Fremantle is rich in maritime history and built around a unique fishing industry environment. In recognition of the spirit of Fremantle, the Fremantle Boat Show is a celebration of all things nautical

It’s the show with a stunning and unbeatable setting: a deep water harbour, picturesque boardwalks, a water-side park, seafood restaurants and the enticing smell of the ocean.

Commencing Friday 18 until Sunday 20 February 2011, Fremantle celebrates its sixth annual boat show, and Fishing Boat Harbour will be packed with luxury motor boats and yachts for visitors to see and explore close up.

The venue, Fishing Boat Harbour, was home to the 1987 Americas Cup defence, will be a focal point for the show with large vessels featured on the water in a working harbour setting.

Just metres away is Fremantle's 'people's park', the Esplanade Reserve, a beautifully grassed community recreation space that provides a perfect setting for the heritage and colonial uniqueness of the Esplanade Hotel.

It’s the perfect place to see everything from outboard motors, jet skies, trailer boats and watersports accessories, plus tips and advice and 'one off' show specials. And entry is FREE.
