UK luxury boat manufacturer, Fairline Boats is showcasing three of its signature models at the Sydney International Boat Show, including the award-winning Targa 58 Gran Turismo, the Squadron 55 and Squadron 65.

The new stock model Targa 58 Gran Turismo has arrived in Sydney after her recent 'Motor Boat of the Year' win in the 'Sportscruiser Above 45ft' category. This magnificent express cruiser boasts an innovative three-cabin, three ensuite layout with light and spacious interiors, and also features the boat builder’s new steel blue coloured hull.

Bryan Jones, President of Fairline Boats Asia, said: 'We are absolutely delighted to have a new Targa 58 GT in time for the show. She is one of our signature models and symbolises a high level of design, quality and innovation; already winning numerous accolades and praise for her seafaring ability and lifestyle proposition. We are very confident sales interest will be high.'

Australia continues to be a significant market for Fairline with a strong order book and ongoing delivery of new models. 2010 saw particularly buoyant results despite the economic climate with authorised Fairline dealer, Fairline Sydney scooping ‘Top Selling Dealer’, awarded by Fairline Boats, upon the completion and handover of four Squadron 55s, one Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO, one Squadron 78, one Squadron 65 and a Phantom 48 within a 12 month period.

Across the region sales are up by almost 600 percent annually since 2008.

Fairline Boats has participated in the Sydney International Boat Show on numerous occasions as part of a major strategic expansion into Asia-Pacific. Increasingly, the world renowned British boat builder is targeting the developing markets of China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and South Korea through an extended dealer network and participation in prominent shows.

'Sydney International Boat Show is one of Australia’s principle boating events. We value its importance as a platform for showcasing the very best in the luxury marine category and look forward to welcoming guests from every Australian state plus New Zealand and across southeast Asia,' said Jones.

Fairline Boats will roll out five new models to the region throughout 2011: the Squadron 42, Targa 50 Gran Turismo, Squadron 58, Squadron 65 and the Squadron 50. This is the highest number of new model launches from any manufacturer and at least three of the five are already, or will be imminently available in Australia.

Fairline Boats has over 44 years of experience. The company designs and builds luxury motor yachts under two distinct brands: Squadron flybridge motor yachts and Targa express cruisers.
