Cadets battling it out on Port Phillip Bay - Stonehaven Cup Lee McRae
Port Adelaide Sailing Club has embarked on a program to find every fibreglass 12 foot Cadet Dinghy in the state with the aim of helping to revive the class in S.A.

With assistant from the National 12 ft Cadet Council the aim is to procure boats update them with flotation tanks and change the boats to the new bermudan rigs.

Port Adelaide Sailing club was sailing 12 foot Cadet Dinghy's in the early 1930's and had a long history with the class.

With the introduction of a Junior program the club has chosen the 12 ft Cadet because of its historical links to the club and also with enormous support from the National council.

We seek assist from anyone knowing the location of any 12 foot Cadet Dinghy's and information can be sent to sailing@portadelaidesailingclub.com or ring Alyn Stevenson 044227562
