Bullot improves at Princess Sofia Mapfre Trophy

New Zealand's Michael Bullot has improved to lie in ninth position after two days of racing in the Princess Sofia Mapfre Trophy, third event of the ISAF World Cup.
The racing was held in a 14 kt sea breeze providing ideal sailing conditions in the nine Olympic classes on the Bay of Palma.
Top performer for New Zealand is now Michael Bullot in the Mens Laser class who has improved two places to lie in 9th place overall. Sara Winther, sailing in the Laser Radial class, had a DNC which dropped her down the points table in the Laser Radial class, however she should improve dramatically after a discard race is allowed. She lies in 19th place overall after scoring a 6 and DNC (Did Not Count) places in the two races sailed. She is competing in a 62 strong fleet. The reason for the DNC is not known. Two US sailors, Paige R and Anna Tunnicliffe are first and second in this event.
Justina Sellers, is in 19th overall of the 30 competitors in the RS:X Womens windsurfer. She scored two 18th places in today's racing.
There are seven New Zealand competitors in the Mens Laser fleet. As mentioned, Michael Bullot is the best performed lying in 9th place after the second day - he finished 21st and 4th places in the Blue fleet in a total field of 134 competitors.

Andy Maloney: 25th overall - 10th and 29th in the Blue fleet
Josh Junior: 26th overall - 35th and 5th in the Yellow fleet
James Sandall: 61st overall - 42nd and 15th in the Blue fleet
Sam Meech: 75th overall - 48th and 37th in the Blue fleet
Blair McLay: 88th overall - 45th and 37th in the Blue fleet
Matt Coutts: 125th overall - 57th and 56th in the Blue fleet
