Bahrain sailors set for WMRT Asian qualifiers

Bahrain’s national sailing team has arrived in Doha for the World Match Racing Tour Asian qualifiers, beginning today (Monday) today at the Doha Sailing Club.
Four of Bahrain's top sailors are lining up for the week-long championship. Spearheading the Kingdom's challenge are Ebrahim Abdulla, Dawood Abdulla, Ahmed Al Na'ar and Ebrahim Daij. Travelling along with the team is their coach Kasem Ben Jemia.
Ben Jemia said he believes his crew is capable of making progress in this qualifier and take another crucial step towards booking a berth in the prestigious World Match Racing Tour.
There are 12 teams from across Asia set to compete in the event, with only two teams reaching the World Match Racing Tour.
The event will be sailed in Beneteau First Class 7.5s.
