Emirates Team New Zealand were welcomed back to Auckland on Friday with a formal welcome in Shed 10 on Auckland's waterfront, attended by thousands of fans. Followed by a harbour welcome. Ten thousand fans turned out to see the team.

The NZ Government announced that they would be again partnering the team - provided the next Protocol was acceptable by the NZ Team.
