The Canberra Yacht Club will host the 2012 ACT Sprint Series this weekend, 13th and 14th of October. There will be divisions for all types of dinghies including the B14’s, Lasers, NS14’s, Tasars, Spirals and Optis, sure to make for some fantastic racing, or spectating for those not sailing.

The Optimist fleet will have a special division with the results making up part of their NSW traveller’s trophy series. Super coach Rob Brewer will provide on-water coaching for the Opti kids.

North Sails Australia has donated an Opti Sail as a lucky entry prize and have also provided a special on sails for all the entrants of the regatta.

Hope to see you in the nation's capital for some fantastic racing, socialising and spectating at a fantastic yacht club on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.

NOR and online entry can be found at the Canberra Yacht Club website
