A big Picture Weekend on Sail-World

by Rob Kothe & the Sail-World Team on 3 Apr 2006
Lots of action from the Gold Coast race starts on the weekend, with 35-40 knot winds at Sydney Heads.

Skandia took line honours but missed the record, we followed the action blow by blow all weekend, lots more stories and some on-boat pixs. We will have a better idea of the line honours results this evening, check back later on Sail-World.

The Volvo Ocean Race story: ABN Amro One did not win the start. Back on Saturday we saw the first exclusive picture of below decks on this boat, don’t miss them.

Seems the Geronimo crew have continued their cigarette butt littering ways and now the California’s have sprung into action. See what has happened to them now.

If you are in Melbourne, the Club Marine Boat Show is on at Sandringham this weekend.
