Images from the NZ National Championships for the A-class catamaran, sailed from Takapuna Beach. The pre-Worlds event attracted 81 competitors, but was shortened to just one day because of strong onshore winds.

Winner was Peter Burling (NZL), a Youth category competitor, with seven times World Champion Glenn Ashby (AUS) second and John Landenberger (AUS) third overall. The Measuring extends acroos Sunday and Monday, with a Practice race on Monday afternoon.
