18ft Skiffs Australian Championship - Race 5 Simon Brown
Thurlow Fisher Lawyers dominated the 18ft Skiffs Australian Championship contested on Sydney Harbour.

Michael Coxon, Aaron Links and Trent Barnabus retained their Australian Championship for 2012.


Sunday's final Heat 5 was eventually won by Gotta Love It 7's Seve Jarvin, Scott Babbage and Sam Newton who returned to his bowman position.

The consistent Smeg, Nick Press, Dan Phillips, Dave Ewings came home in third place and second overall in the series. Coxon's Team narrowly led 7 for the first two legs only to let Team Jarvin slip into the lead at the Clark Island turn mark by 15 secs. from there they were able to extend the lead by 1 min. 40 secs. at the finish

The JJ Giltinan now awaits this pair of favourites.
