Copa Mabarak concludes after 3 days of racing + Video

Copa Mabarak 2014 completed its third day of racing with totally clear sky and winds from 4-10 knots. Mabarak Cup closes its first participation in the Mexican Sailing Circuit successfully with a great opportunity to promote the sport in this beautiful port of Veracruz.

Over 130 boats competed during the last three days, with significant participation by sailors of the Navy of Mexico.

With the presence of Hugo Mabarak and Eric Mergenthaler, VP of Mexican Sailing Federation, the closure of Mabarak Cup 2014 took place the same afternoon encouraging sailors to continue their efforts in this beautiful sport. The winners of each class got their awards from the official sponsor of the Mexican Sailing Circuit 2014, Milwaukee Tools.
