The final day of Atlantic Canada's premier keelboat regatta concluded with varied wind conditions delivering a challenge to competitors and big reward to top finishers.
"Chester Race Week delivered highly competitive racing across a wide range of conditions. The wind was constantly evolving in both strength and direction, putting a premium on tactical decision-making, boat handling and the ability to adapt quickly. With strong, deep fleets across the race courses, there were very few easy gains, every position had to be earned. The level of competition throughout the week was outstanding and a real testament to the calibre of sailors who come to race in Chester," commented Dan Conrod, On-Water Chair, Chester Race Week.
