Antigua Yacht Club to host the 2026 CSA AGM & Conference

by Caribbean Sailing Association 18 Jul 07:29 PDT October 2-4, 2026

The Caribbean Sailing Association (CSA) is thrilled to announce that it will host its Annual Conference from October 2-4, 2026, at the Antigua Yacht Club in English Harbour.

This timing is purposefully chosen to allow regional stakeholders to coordinate and finalize their promotional plans and strategic initiatives for the upcoming season.

The CSA invites all members to attend this pivotal gathering, which promises a dynamic mix of discussions, networking opportunities, collaborative problem-solving, and inspirational presentations. The agenda includes the CSA's Annual General Meeting (AGM), where members will discuss key initiatives and strategies to enhance the region's sailing scene.

Participants will have the chance to engage with regatta organizers, measurers, club managers, race management technicians, and industry leaders to share insights on the challenges and opportunities facing sailing across the Caribbean. Attendees can look forward to in-depth discussions on race management, measurement issues, and the development of grassroots sailing programs. Of the conference, President Bastien Pouthier says, "Industry experts and measurers will be in attendance. The conference is the perfect opportunity to further develop collaboration and innovation that ultimately focuses on enhancing the sailing experience in the region. We invite everyone involved in our sport of sailing to consider attending."

Attendance is for members and registration for the conference is now open. Committing early helps to encourage other participants to consider joining. Any one interested in membership, or their membership status, can reach out to the secretariat, Onesha O'Marde at

Those interested in participating in the organization or contributing to the professional schedule can reach out to Conference Organizer Alison Sly-Adams at .

As the CSA continues to promote the Caribbean as a premier sailing destination, this conference provides an invaluable platform for members to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of sailing in the region. The detailed schedule and additional information will be posted on the CSA website in late summer, so be sure to stay tuned.
