What an incredible start to the RS Venture Connect European Championships registrations!

Already 10 teams (from 5 nations) have signed up to join the action, with sailors travelling from Norway, Spain, Great Britain, Germany, and even as far as Australia.

This summer, the RS Venture Connect fleet will come together 18-21 July at the RS Games 2026, hosted during the iconic Travemünder Woche - where 12 RS classes unite in one huge celebration of the RS community.

But what makes the RS Venture Connect Europeans truly special? The spirit of inclusion at its heart.

With Para, Inclusive, and Open categories, the RS Venture Connect is a class where sailors of all backgrounds and abilities can compete side-by-side on equal terms. It's about racing hard on the water and building friendships that last long after the finish line.

The early entry list already features some incredible teams:

Flying the flag for the host nation are teams Jürgen Brietzke & Siegmund Mainka, and Alfred Volkmer & Heike Gercken.

And the GBR contingent is already shaping up nicely with Shaun & Adam Billany, Justen Bersin, Tobias Owen, and Antony Williams joining the fleet.

Every entry adds another story, another team, and another connection to this growing community.

With 4 months to go, there's still plenty of time to be part of it. Chasing a podium place? Representing your nation? Or simply joining friends on the water? This is a championship that proves sailing really is for everyone.

Secure your place on the start line and be part of the RS Venture Connect and wider RS family at this truly special, celebration of sailing at the RS Games 2026.
