Hadley has progressed steadily through local, regional, and international competition, earning her place once again among the world's elite youth athletes. The Youth Sailing World Championships is regarded as the premier development event for future Olympic and professional sailors.

Racing in the demanding Atlantic conditions of Vilamoura, Hadley will face the best youth sailors from more than 70 countries, gaining invaluable experience at the highest level of youth sailing.

Her participation marks a proud moment not only for her family and support team, but for the wider Vincentian sporting community. Scarlett said "I'm so proud to fly the Vincy flag at the Youth World Championships in Vilamoura Portugal".
