World Sailing welcomes the 100 Day Review by the Queensland Government's Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority as an important step towards delivering a successful Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.

World Sailing President Quanhai Li and World Sailing CEO David Graham met Brisbane 2032 President Andrew Liveris and Brisbane 2032 CEO Cindy Hook at last week's 144th IOC Session in Costanavarino, Greece in a productive, transparent and collaborative discussion.

World Sailing supports the recommendations of the study. Townsville and The Whitsundays are venues which will provide iconic, beautiful settings for the Brisbane 2032 sailing competition.

We look forward to working closely with Brisbane 2032 to deliver an Olympic regatta which prioritises a great experience for athletes, spectators and television viewers, while also delivering economic, social and environmental benefits for the hosts in line with World Sailing's strategy, Ready for the Future.
