The first MIA webinar of 2025 is scheduled for this Thursday, March 27, at 2 PM Sydney time.

 

This important session will introduce the overarching principles of the newly launched Marine Sustainability Pledge, an initiative to promote sustainability in the marine industry.

 

The webinar will feature a series of real-life case studies by industry leaders who have taken significant steps toward a more sustainable future.

 

  • Emma King from Birkenhead Point Marina will share how Birkenhead Point Marina Kiosk successfully reduced their reliance on single-use plastics, highlighting their journey and strategies.

     

  • Steve Hosking, CMM, will discuss the implementation of electric vehicle (EV) charging at Quays Marina, focusing on how the marina integrated solar power into the charging system, aligning with sustainable energy practices.
