It's been another crazy year but there's still been plenty to celebrate which is why Yachting New Zealand will be broadcasting this year's Volvo Yachting Excellence Awards online.

The annual awards were due to take place at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron on November 12 but will now be screened on our Facebook and YouTube pages at 6pm on November 12 with Jesse Tuke as your host.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our partners and sponsors for supporting these awards again and ask readers to consider supporting these companies when making purchasing decisions.

Zhik continually set the benchmark in water sports apparel and their gear is the choice of Olympic and world champions around the globe. Whether pushing the boundaries on the forefront of innovation, defying expectations in design and technology in water sport apparel, or kicking back after the race and watching the sunset, Zhik are never far from the water.

The NZL Sailing Foundation do a tremendous amount of work to support young sailors and it's appropriate they are sponsoring the Young Female Sailor of the Year and Young Male Sailor of the Year awards. They are an independent trust who have been helping New Zealand sailors to help them achieve their dreams since 1998.

Established in 1996, Safety at Sea specialise in offering the world's leading marine safety products and aviation survival equipment. Wichard on Safety at Sea are proud to be supporting the Cruising Award.

The team at LUCKE are ocean lovers, on a mission to inspire positive change in the custom clothing industry. By aligning themselves with the Young Leader Award, they support leaders of tomorrow who have decided to stand up.

When it comes to sailing and being out on the water, the last thing you want to do is paperwork and that's why SeaLogs have created a digital logbook and fleet management solution that captures things like voyage information, safety checks, engine and fuel detais, crew training and sea time. As boaties themselves, they understand you need something fast, smart and purposeful for your vessel. SeaLogs are proud to be supporting the Official of the Year and the phenomenal job they do, because sailing events wouldn't be possible without them.
