As part of the burgeoning growth of the Performance Pathway, Australian Sailing is pleased to announce the recruitment of Brady Lowe into the TAS/SA pathways advisor position.

This role will be focused on creating sustainable pathways structure and coaching within the states of South Australia and Tasmania.

As a hybrid role, his remit is to technically coach existing scholarship or high potential athletes within the states and following that, to identify sailors, clubs and associations who can contribute and want to be partners on the Olympic journey.

Brady's will be working closely with Australian Sailing's regional offices and his background is across both the club and performance space. In Tasmania, he will continue to build our ongoing relationship with the Tasmanian Institute of Sport.

Brady has said the following upon signing up for the role.

"I'm excited to bring my experience in pathways to Tasmania and South Australia. Both states have some exciting talent that I'm looking forward to working with"

Our National Pathway Manager, Ash Brunning commented on the scope of the role: "Both Tasmania and South Australia are presently untapped in terms of their potential to contribute sailing talent to the performance pathway. Our long goal here is to find and develop these athletes and coaches, while creating local partnerships to build sustainable pathways. As we launch 'Futures' and other programs, the opportunities continue to grow nationally and I am excited to see what this will generate in the coming years".
