City of Gold Coast set to welcome Marinas21 delegates

The Marina Industries Association (MIA) announces that the Welcome Reception for its Marinas21 International Conference & Trade Exhibition will be generously supported by the City of Gold Coast, which is excited to welcome delegates back to the Gold Coast once again.
The event will take the form of a casual dinner cruise aboard the magnificent venue YOT Club which will depart at 7pm on Sunday 23 May from the Southport Yacht Club's soon to be completed 160m Superyacht berthing facility.
In announcing the sponsorship, the City of Gold Coast Mayor, Tom Tate commented, "Marinas21 is an important event for our city and our state as it is aligned with our strategy of continuing to build and invest in the marine industry. We are delighted that the organisers have again decided to host this event in our wonderful city, we are very proud to be associated with it and we look forward to welcoming the delegates in May 2021."
MIA Director and CEO Gold Coast City Marina and Shipyard, Trenton Gay said of the sponsorship, "Our thanks again to City of Gold Coast for its sponsorship of this event. It is great to have such strong support from Council and it reinforces the Gold Coast as one of the country's key maritime hubs."
The venue for the Welcome Reception is YOT Club, the world's first Super Yacht Entertainment Venue. Licensed for up to 400 guests over two luxurious levels, it is the ultimate event venue. The MIA is very grateful for the support of YOT Club owner David Fisher and his generosity in providing his venue for the Welcome Reception.
MIA President, Andrew Chapman said, "YOT Club is an incredible vessel and venue and we are privileged to have the support of the owner David Fisher who has provided the venue for the evening in support of our industry. In a true show of commitment, David has gone above and beyond in ensuring YOT Club will be ready for boarding as it will be at Sanctuary Cove International Boatshow until late afternoon on the Sunday and then quickly turned around in time for our delegates to board for dinner at the Southport Yacht Club."
The Welcome Reception will be the first opportunity of the conference for delegates to reunite old friendships and establish new ones. The conference held over two days, 24-25 May 2021 at the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort. Delegate registrations are open at www.marinas21.com and the program will launch later this month.
