Emirates Team New Zealand was back out on the Waitemata Harbour, and on the old America's Cup course off the East Coast Bays, training in an offshore breeze of 18-20kts gusting to 25kts.

Even though racing marks were laid, the team seemed to be doing speed testing during the 45 minutes we watched from the cliffs between Campbells Bay and Castor Bay - to the north of Course A.

The session lasted about four hours and began with Te Aihe being towed down the harbour foiling, with her main and jib hoisted, before being released off her tow line to free sail.

This is the first time an AC75 has sailed on the Waitemata this week, due to strong winds on Monday and Tuesday. Thursday looks to be too light from sailing with Friday the next best day.
