Régates Royales at Yacht Club Cannes - Day 4

On paper, my program for the event has been concluded, with 1.5 days gone due to the weather (well, it's part of sailing), and as usual one day is dedicated to finding new alternative to shoot, in particular from the ground, as I often watch the regattas from a beach or a port wall...
This year, when in May/June the lockdown in France was removed I could explore some iconic landmarks in the P.A.C.A. (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur), so today, a bit in a hurry for a missed alarm, I climbed on top of the peak (7km, 250m to climb up to 642m in 1h16m) breathing a fantastic clean air full of pine and eucalyptus.
I could shoot the bay with the departure of the big boats. After, I rode down on a wonderful snaking road to another iconic place, this time at sea level, and another path to climb brought me in the area of the tack mark. I know the courses well and could listen to the VHF race calls.
In addition the weather passed from sunny and light breeze, to stormy dark all around with light wind and sun rays falling as a spot-light. All the effort was rewarded by some different images to usual.
There is just one more day on the docks of the "Festival" (to investigate some rumours about some new damages) and Sunday it's time to go in Glamour village for the third last event on the Côte.
