Sanlorenzo triumphs again this year with a double victory at the World Yachts Trophies 2020 in Cannes, in the splendid setting of the Carlton Beach Club.

During the prize ceremony on Saturday 12th September, the international jury granted awards to the innovative SL96Asymmetric and the new 44Alloy superyacht, which are the latest news of the shipyard.

SL96Asymmetric was selected in the category of motor yachts with length from 14 to 30 meters for "Best Layout," emphasizing Sanlorenzo's unique ability to go beyond the limits imposed by nautical design. The yacht is a true design manifesto, reformulating conventional on-board balances to offer greater space, luminosity, relaxation and innovation.

With the aim of making more use of the interior spaces and having better communication with the outside world, the SL96Asymmetric rethinks the canonical layout of a yacht, keeping only the gangway on the starboard side and eliminating the one on the port side, which has been shifted to the roof of the superstructure. This asymmetrical configuration frees up about 10 square meters of space for the interiors.

SL96Asymmetric is the result of the encounter of different creative minds: from an original idea by the brilliant car designer Chris Bangle to Bernardo Zuccon, who has designed the exterior lines of this model, incorporating the concept of asymmetry.

44Alloy was the winner in the category of motor yachts with length of 20 to 50 meters, for "Best Exterior Design." The external lines of the new superyacht designed by Bernardo Zuccon represent a fusion with the DNA of Sanlorenzo, replicating its signs and stylemes but translating them into a new, almost experimental language.

A fast displacement model with a length of 44.5 meters, entirely in aluminium, it brings the concept of livability to new heights, offering novel settings and scenarios for the owners and those who spend time on board.

The conceptual fulcrum of the project is the owner's cabin conceived as a private apartment of 147 m2, organized on three levels with indoor and outdoor areas, a solution never seen before on a superyacht of this size.

The new 44Alloy is a true conceptual upgrade of the 40Alloy, the aluminium model with a length of 40 meters, and a renowned winner of many honors for its countless innovations, ever since its debut in 2007: the folding terraces in the owner's zone, the gullwing doors on the bridge, remarkable performance and extraordinary success on the market.

Two prestigious new awards that confirm the unique position of Sanlorenzo in its field, thanks to its ability to offer projects that stem from brilliant design creativity, always ready to explore new territories and original languages.
