A: It all depends on the condition of the paint on the hull, would it benefit from a strip back to bear wood or can you simply add a couple of coats of paint over the original top coat. If you decide to strip back to wood we would suggest using an epoxy primer then add a number of coats of a two pack paint until you reach the desired level of finish - you could end with up to 8 coats!
If opting for a quick paint over be careful in your choice of paints, a two pack paint will not work over the top of a one pack paint!
