The forecast for Saturday the 13th was not inspiring but despite that twelve Solos arrived from across Scotland. We were met by sun and what looked suspiciously like small white horses!

Loch Lomond Sailing Club put on a great meeting with 3 long triangle sausage courses. The wind started around 10 knots and slowly increased to 15 knots by the end with a lovely planing reach back to the club. The shifts were enough to make you concentrate but never too big. The racing was very close throughout the fleet.

Race one was won by Stuart Gibson of CCC closely followed by Kev Gibb from Largo and Keith Milroy from St Mary's.

Race two had Keith winning from Kev followed by Kev and Stuart.

Race three had Kev winning comfortably from Stuart with John Colgrave from Aberdeen in 3rd. I'm not sure what happened to the boats that went left up the best but Stuart and Keith were at the back at the first mark.

A fantastic day was had by all with a sunny day, good wind and a view to die for.

At the end of the day Kev won from Stuart and Keith. At the prize giving HD Sails t shirts were given along with the usual prizes.

Many thanks to all at Loch Lomond Sailing Club for putting on such a great event.
