What they said:

Fynn Sterritt, 31, Kingussie, Scotland (49er): "Today was a day where people weren't that consistent compared to the first couple of days of the regatta so hopefully we gained a few points on the leading bunch. It felt like we needed one of those days - and it's come at the right time. We got a little lucky but we were also sailing really fast, and we were set up nicely for the conditions. The boat was going really well and we were getting ourselves out of tight situations that make all the difference."

John Gimson, 36, Congleton, Cheshire (Nacra 17): "We had a pretty solid day today. We're pretty happy with the score. It's the end of qualifying today and our goal for qualifying was always to be in contention going into gold fleet, which I think we have. So far so good, but there's a long way to go."

Live show:

From May 16-19 a live show including coverage of the racing will be broadcast via the 49er class, Nacra 17 class and British Sailing Team's Youtube channels. The presenters are Genny Tulloch, Andy Rice and a daily guest host.
