MS Amlin Yacht, one of the UK's leading boat insurance specialists have confirmed sponsorship of the 70th year of East Anglian Offshore Racing Association who offer regular racing across the Thames Estuary.

MS Amlin Yacht the boat insurance specialists are delighted to announce their continued partnership with EAORA.

Having sponsored EAORA's Offshore regatta for the last few years which took the competitors over the sea to Ostend, MS Amlin are happy to extend their sponsorship to now cover the whole season which includes 14 races, including 2 RORC races (which are Fastnet qualifiers) and the established 4-day regatta which this year starts on the 11th July.

The Offshore season starts on the 11th & 12th May with the Royal Burnham Yacht Club's Ralph Herring race, followed by the West Mersea Yacht Club's Pattinson Cup, both races date back to the 1950's.

The overall EAORA winner for 2018 was a Sigma 38 called Spirit, the yachts race under IRC, a real mix of yachts including, Beneteau's (40.7 & 31.7) Swan 43, Sparkman & Stevens one off, Sigma 33, Arcona 410 and an X332. This year the fleet is hopefully being joined by a SJ32, club Swan 42, Archambault 31, John Corby 33 and two J yachts.

Annual EAORA 90 mile race from West Mersea to Ostend On Friday 22nd September at 7am, eight IRC yachts and one MOCRA Trimaran raced in the annual 90 mile race from West Mersea to Ostend. A magic weekend at Ramsgate for Magic Moments
Brave Trophy in Round the Goodwins after a retirement in the Fastnet! East Anglian Offshore Racing Association had 10 of their regular competitors race in this year's challenging Fastnet. East Coast Race / RORC Fastnet Qualifier, Cannon Ball Race & Graham Wallis Trophy On Thursday 15th June it was the RORC East Coast Race, the IRC yachts faced tricky conditions as the forecast was very mixed.
