Four 100-foot super maxis will this weekend have their final offshore hit-out at the CYCA Trophy Series before the Everest of Ocean Racing, the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race starting Boxing Day. This Saturday 8 December and Sunday 9 December Black Jack, Comanche, InfoTrack and Wild Oats XI will battle for Line Honours in the two-passage race series to claim the CYCA Trophy.

The CYCA Trophy Series represents the penultimate test for many crews before they head south on arguably sailing's toughest journey.

The 15-yacht fleet will feature other Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race entrants, such as Reichel Pugh 63 Voodoo, Kerr 46 Patrice and Rogers 46 Smuggler.

Marcus Blackmore's grand prix TP52 Hooligan will also make an appearance in the two-race series, starting at 11am on stunning Sydney Harbour.

There will be a media boat leaving the CYCA at 10am on Saturday 8 December.

If you are interested in being placed on a media boat, please email . Positions on media boats are limited, so placement is not automatic.
