Lymington Town Sailing Club Solent Circuit - Day 6

Competitors for day 6 of the LTSC Pennyfarthing Solent Circuit were greeted with a steady 26kt wind with gusts of 37kt – 41kts. A decision was made to postpone the start for 1 hour in the hope that the wind would moderate.

With no reduced wind expected the decision was finally made to abandon the racing. The final race of the series takes place on Sunday 18th November. Entries for single races are still being accepted through the LTSC Sailing Office.

Santa's Sailing Dash at Lymington Town
To raise funds for Oakhaven Hospice alongside the local fun run Sunday 9th December saw nearly 2000 Lymington residents dress as Santa and run, jog and walk the 3km course to raise funds for Oakhaven Hospice, a local hospice which provides specialist palliative care to patients in The New Forest and Waterside area.
