Documentary: 2018 Shanghai Cup

As a Class A International sailing race, the opening ceremony of this year's edition of the Nacra 17 Shanghai Cup and Nacra 17 Asian Championship was held at Hyatt on the Bund on September 27, with the actual race of the 2018 Shanghai Cup to take place between September 28-30 at Lake Dishui, Lingang, Pudong New Area.

The event was organized by World Sailing Nacra 17 Class Association, Chinese yachting association, Shanghai Sports Bureau, Shanghai Lingang Area Development Administration, Shanghai Hongkou district Government, Shanghai Sports Federation and co-organised by Shanghai Hongkou district sports bureau, Shanghai Pudong New Area Education (Sports) Bureau, Shanghai Pudong New Area Nanhui new town district Government, Shanghai Harbour City Development (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai SYC Sports Management Co Ltd.

On September 28, the 2018 SYC Nacra 17 Shanghai Cup and Nacra 17 Asian Championship officially opened in Dishui Lake, Shanghai. There were 12 teams from 12 countries and regions, with a total of 24 world's top sailors competing on among each other.

Team UK was crowned the overall winner of the 2018 Shanghai Cup that took place at the beautiful Dishui lake. Second place went to Team Austria, followed by Team Sweden in third. It was a beautiful event that left great impressions to all the participants.
