Clubs entering this year's RYA and Yachts & Yachting Club of the Year Awards supported by Gallagher will not only lay claim to the coveted title of Club of the Year but will also have access to a fantastic new prize package.

Thanks to a generous contribution by RS Sailing, the 2019 Club of the Year will be provided with a choice of RS boats and coaching for their members for up to one week.

The winning club will be able to select the prize package based on their club's needs. Clubs with a youth section will be able to choose from either six RS Teras or four RS Fevas along with a coach for one week during the club's Summer youth activities. While for Sailability clubs, RS will provide an RS Venture for a weekend and a coaching talk from Paralympic Gold medallist Helena Lucas.

Jon Partridge of RS Sailing commented: "It fills me with pride to be supporting the RYA and Yachts & Yachting Club of the Year Award. Sailing and participation in sailing is a huge passion of mine, and a central part of our ethos here at RS Sailing. Providing some RS boats to clubs during their busy summer activities will hopefully help some new sailors discover the love for the sport that keeps us all hooked."

RYA Programmes Manager Michelle Gent added: "We are delighted to be working with RS Sailing to provide additional value to the 2019 Club of the Year Awards. With so many volunteers working hard all year round it is great to be able to recognise them and their clubs. I am very much looking forward to meeting the finalists at the RYA Dinghy Show 2019."

The 2019 Club of the Year winner will be chosen from the ten regional finalists and two 'wild card' entries. All twelve finalist clubs will then go through to a public vote with the overall winner selected by RYA members, Yachts & Yachting readers and the judging panel. All the finalists will be invited to attend the RYA Dinghy Show where the winning club will be revealed on the main stage on Saturday 02 March 2019.

Entries close on Monday 24 September 2018.
