Your Summer Kit Bag Essentials
With the weather heating up it’s important to review what’s in your
kit bag
in order to stay safe when out on the water. Even when it’s chilly, you’re at risk of UV exposure and sunburn so it’s always best to protect your skin with a rash vest. Comfortable and easy to wear,
a UV rash vest
will protect you from UV rays so you can enjoy sailing for longer.
It’s not just your body that needs to be protected during the warmer weather, ensure you have a good quality pair of
sunglasses
to block out glare and light reflections as well as UV rays, whilst allowing you full, clear eyesight. You’ll also need that all important hat to shield your head and keep your focus. Choose one with built-in UV protection and a wicking headband to keep moisture away from the skin.
