Hi!

Im in france and lookin foward to sailing whaam!

I think on whaam you may have to tack swinging the tiller extention over the back of the boat rather than towards the mainsheet falls!

um the mainsheet goes from the back up along the boom and down so it catches on both ends (its set up like the topper center main)

Hey there's nothing wrong with Whaaam, I used to own her before Suicide Blonde.  I think that the control table in the cockpit is "proper" carbon, and not just sheathed for show as it were.  I would'nt bother twin wiring her though as she will almost certainly be faster single wiring.  First mod I did was go 29er style on the mainsheet, much more room in the cockpit!  Not sure about the transom as it has been modified since I owned it, although I did get plenty chance to inspect it at the Nationals...much of the time I was looking at it from my boat!!! Grrrr!!!

Anyway, enjoy the boat, see you out there soon!!!

That is a very good idea, it was something I meant to do as I used to get in a right mess sometimes when tacking that boat.  Adding a rudder gantry woould also give you a bit more room at the back end, although I'm guessing that teh proud new owners of Whaaam might be a little smaller than me anyway which might help!!
