I don't have a problem with it being overweight, just correcting the term "not real carbon".

"Calm down dear".....................

Whamm is a fantastic boat, great across the wind ranges! & she gave everyone a run for their money at the Nats and I used to get some good places and trophys with her at my home club. Stu, it doesnt matter she is overweight - these kids just wana get some propper sailing going and Ecocats is the way forward (sorry, still cant say Whamm!) & anyway, she is only a little heavier dan the Strawberry & lets not forget shes an old wooden boat!

As for the carbon, not real carbon - at the end of the day it works & yes we can all go into technical jargon why a tube is the same strength as a bar yarda yarda!

New owners of 2539 - I have one word which I know you will take onto the water, ENJOY!!!! & we hope to see you at the Chew blast.

-Many thanks goes out to all of my sponsors.
Ignore my user name, my views are of a 12ft skiff

THANKS ANDY! And Yeah 2539 is all nearly ready for the water, just need the Whaam signwriting to be added again, but its only the W we have to do on that so it on't take long.

Ginger_69's grandad is sorting out the mast and although  it won't be a paticularly good one, it will get us on the water having fun until we can find a better one. And yeah if we are all here, we WILL definately be at the blast.

I'm slating comments like:
"ye but ours is better than real carbon its home made carbon with a strong bit (wood)"

there are two sorts of carbon...

the lovely expensive processed woven stuff that is a black colour, and that nice cheap(er) organic stuff that is usually brown.

...so you've got an organic carbon boat with processed carbon trim...
