Who would have believed it was possible to get an RS400 bow that far in the air in flat water without hanging out the back? My not very educated guess wonders if its something to do with all the turnup in the buttock lines aft...

Done that in flat water to the 400 it was about a f7 and it made the jib luff go behind the mast(and we used an unusually high rig tension. Have regularly had the whole thing airborne in waves and not even big ones!

Well, no big fish stories from me about how fast it was going. I'd say 12knots, maybe a bit more. But, to be fair, high speed isn't what a 400 is about.
