Right just read the results on the front cover -

First over the line in the Bloody Mary was Graham Vials in a foiling Moth, but he's not eligible for the Bloody Mary trophy, which goes to Rob Greenhalgh and Dan Johnson in their International 14.

The third and fourth place boats, which were Pete Barton and Boonie Moody in a Cherub and Jason Belben in a foiling Moth, were both also not eligible to compete in the overall results.

Question - why are the foiling Moths and the Cherub not eligible?


Also - I think, only think, the winner of the 2008 BM is on the front cover of the current issue:

Oh and the reason I retired - was cos I managed to break the traveller on the Laser!

Oh and shh, although I had to retire, I think I would of been ahead of the 5000 (Villian and Ratface AKA James and James), check the results using the link on my first post.

Hehe .. After a few capsises, and a crew ( me ) who very rarely trapezes, I dont think thats too bad!!

Didn't beat our 159th from last year though .....

Trapezing must the easiest thing about the 5000, so no excuse . Trapezing must be about the easiest thing about sailing! Despite all your Cherub bashing, there were two in the top 10!


I don't know about this eligibility thing. They were given places so why no trophies?

Not that easy when you dont do that much trapezing to start with . and then have the big gap between hull and racks to deal with ...

While trying to play that kite .. which even you admitted is quite large!!

The "boats”, not the sailors. Well I suppose they might be a little crazy .
