	Madagascar has never won an Olympic medal, they have even sent athletes to the Winter Olympics. We are somewhat myopic with our appreciation craft from other cultures. Obviously the Scandies built some amazing boats but they had abundant high quality material. The sailors of the Indian and Pacific Oceans did awesome things with very limited resources and creativity.
