You have to include the whole title ..."fastest boat on the water".
- not in the boat park 'cos it's too windy
- not at the repair shop
- not on the phone trying to find crew to sail with you
- not doing the shopping/DIY because it's too much hassle to rig the boat

Oh and yes they do stop if the bow digs in but they don't often pitchpole and they can be righted without outside assistance if they flip.

..... and sh*te knees.

A strange post from someone who has problems hiking because one of the joys of sailing a Weta is you don't have to hike (much) which is one of the reasons it has appealed to somewhat more mature (cough) sailors.

In light winds you can lie back on the tramp. Up to about 15 knots, sitting on the edge of the tramp is comfortable enough, with a bit of foam padding between the mesh and the frame. If it blows more you can sit on the float and use the the safety harness to support you.

so you go buy one- because you really believe the hype about it being high performance and 'the fastest boat on the water'... only to get your arse handed to you by a Dart 15, nevermind an A-Class or F16.

Sorry, I don't 'get' the proposition.  It seems like a lot of faff, with limited class structure and racing, to go not particularly fast.  In fact, given some breeze, something like a Contender would nail it.
