For the first time in the history of the Olympic Games, a Mixed Two Person Offshore Keelboat Event will be at the Olympic Sailing Competition.
The Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) is the principal organiser of offshore yacht races in the United Kingdom and all their offshore races are open to two-handed crews.
This autumn the RORC has been running a series of offshore races specifically for two-handed crews and has seen both past Olympic champions and Olympic hopefuls taking part.
The final race of this series will start at 10:30 from Cowes on Saturday 10th October 2020.
The event is open to the following: Two-Handed IRC rated boats with a TCC of 0.850 or higher that comply with current Covid-19 guidelines and with respect to social distancing at all times, including whilst travelling/on passage before the start and after the finish.
Eligible boats should enter using the RORC online entry system (SailGate):
