Faster and Better
There have been some very clever people doing some very complicated stuff behind the scenes at Sail-World of late. Don't ask – I do know the difference between a sheet and a halyard, but sql and html are not part of my vocabulary. Many readers have noticed the new look of the ‘front end' of the website, and said nice things about it. Especially note that there is a field for comments at the end of each story. The newsletter distribution system has been over hauled as well. This has taken some time, but here we are back and running, better and faster.
Meanwhile, it has been busy on the sailing front in Asia. There was Top of the Gulf, international match racing in Hong Kong, the Edmond de Rothschild Spring Regatta to close out the RHKYC's official sailing season, the conclusion of the much-delayed RHKYC Jeanneau Class Regatta, and now the ever-popular Koh Samui Regatta is just around the corner.
Digging back a while through the archives, here's a roundup of what's been happening recently.
Standing by on 72.
