Team Australia sets record for Trans Tasman crossing

The ORMA60, Team Australia, skippered by Sean Langman, has set a new record for the Sydney-Auckland crossing of the Tasman Sea, when she crossed the finish line around 9.00am NZT.

They took 2 days 17hrs 45 minutes to sail from Sydney to Auckland and averaged 19.6 knots over the 1,260nm On Facebook
