The Greenline brand is celebrating 100 of its 33 Hybrid boats in just 10 months, which have been sold to all parts of the globe making it arguably the best selling boat of this size worldwide.
With steady sales in to markets in Europe, in the past three months the Greenline has also entered the Ocean Pacific region and North America.
The Greenline 33 has garnered six Boat of the Year awards, three Environmental awards, two Golden awards for Innovation and the latest Nautical Design Award (Italy) in recognition of a concept which has aimed to change the face of powerboating.
The multi-award winning Greenline Hybrid 33 is a production built, single cabin boat with a patented 'superdisplacement' hull, powered by a combination of diesel engine and solar-electric generation.
The Greenline Hybrid has a range of up to 700 nautical miles on diesel alone. When combined with the additional range of solar-electric motoring, the economy of use is further improved. This efficiency is largely down to J&J’s patented 'Superdisplacement', low-drag hull requiring considerably less energy to move through the water.
Greenline Hybrid offers the serenity and silence of a sailing yacht, similar running costs to a yacht and the peace of mind that comes from low-impact recreational boating. The design has been kept simple with a single, flexible cabin and single-level saloon, galley and aft opening deck and transom. The Greenline has been designed to put boating traditions hand-in-hand with the environment.
North South Yachting, Australian importers are distributing the Greenline Hybrid across their national dealership network. The first boat sold in Australia is due to leave Pittwater in February 2011 for Hobart, Tasmania.
The Greenline 33 is available from $237,333.
