Raging Bull race 2 - Quantum Sails winning ways at Audi Hamilton Island Race Week Mark Griffith
Mark Griffith (Raging Bull), Graham Smith (Scaramouche) and David Berry (Escapade) all chose and used Quantum sails to take the top step off the podium at race week. Just missing out were Peter Higgins (Magnolia) and John Meadowcroft (Carrera) they finished a close second that was not decided until the finish off the last race.
In all Quantum Fusion M and X sails won 14 races in 39 that they contested. In IRC racing Beau Geste (Karl Kwok), Quantum Racing (Ray Roberts) and Limit (Alan Brierty) were 4th, 5th and 8th giving Quantum three in the first eight. Ian Murray’s Cinquante the first Sydney 38 all so used Fusion M with great success.
In C/R IRC Mark Griffith steered the Raging Bull (Bull 9000CR) to a close win defeating some serious “factory” efforts, not bad for a bunch of cat sailors.
What about David Berry in his Beneteau F31 holding off all those big boats to clean up Cruising Div 3 Nice work.
That’s it for another year and once again congratulations to every one using Quantum sails you all did well on and off the water.
