David Swete reports from Team Alpari FX from Bermuda, with Adam Minioprio, Nick Blackman and Tom Powrie at the Argo Gold Cup:

Hello all from Bermuda

Well today’s forecast was definitely not in the brochure. Torrential rain and a fickle breeze that topped out at about 5 knots made for some tedious racing. We were only involved in one race before the race committee put a hold to proceedings, with Sir Ben and his team deservedly taking the vital point.

Disadvantaged by a port entry and the light breeze, our only option was to trail the Brit into the final approach to the start line and from there it was a case of the rich get richer, as they sailed well to extend and take the victory.

Tomorrow sees us with starboard entry in the first match and also with some more breeze forecast it will be a totally different kettle of fish. We are confident we can get the 3 points needed to progress to the final so please stay tuned.

Team Alpari FX would like to thank Alpari and Line 7 Events Clothing for their support. Team AlpariFX are Adam Minoprio, Chris Main, Tom Powrie, David Swete and Nick Blackman. For more info please visit www.wmrt.com or follow us on twitter @TeamAlpariFX .
