North Sails Performance 2023 - LEADERBOARD

Overy Staithe Sailing Club Deep Sea Fishermens Pennant

by Jennie Clark 28 Apr 23:17 PDT 27 April 2024

Six boats were on the start line on a rather cold morning with a force 2-3 north easterly wind blowing. It was great to see Sam & Richard Mason back in their Albacore and Rod Thorpe sailing a Laser in his first race with OSSC.

Ashley Deakin made the best start and soon increased his lead, followed by Alex Scoles in his Europe and Sam Mason swapping places at intervals.

Will Garnett and Julian valiantly sailed their Cockle round both laps and looked to be having an enjoyable sail.

Many thanks to Race Officers Camilla & Richard Warner and Safety boat crew George & Henry Smith.
