World Sailing Match Racing Rankings - 19 October 2016

The World Sailing Match Race rankings have been released and Taylor Canfield (ISV) and Anna Kjellberg (SWE) remain top of the respective sections.

Canfield keeps hold of the number one position over main rival Ian Williams (GBR) who sits in second.

Winner of the highest graded regatta in the ranking period, the New Zealand Match Racing Championship 2016, Chris Steele (NZL) moves up from number eight to break in to the top five as World number five, his highest ever position.

Anna Kjellberg holds top spot in the women's division with Camilla Ulrikkeholm (DEN) as World number two.



Carolin Sylvan has moved in to number three, dropping Anne Claire Le Berre (FRA) down a place to number four in the Women's rankings.

Cup Spy May 9: Testing the wind machine
Luna Rossa have been testing the old and new AC75 wingfoils as they wind down in Cagliari Luna Rossa sailed for the fourth successive day from Cagliari, Sardinia. A point of interest on Thursday was the relative performance of its two wing foils - one to the new AC75 Class Rule, the other a legacy foil used in the 2021 America's Cup.
