We have created the following privacy statement to explain our commitment to Privacy. This statement outlines our information gathering and dissemination practices.

We collect contact information when visitors register for our news event updates, or sweepstakes/contests.

News Updates

Whilst going through the site, you may be prompted to enter your e-mail address to receive updates on sailing news events and other matters of interest. When you register, we ask you to provide your name, e-mail address, post/zip code and country. You will also be given the option to provide additional information that allows us to tailor the communications we send to you to fit your specific interests. We use your e-mail address to notify you of new programs and events, we think you will find of interest.

During registration, you may be asked if you would like to receive information from any of our supporters/advertisers. If you say "Yes", we may send you information on behalf of an advertiser or supporter but we will not share your email address with any other party.

Sweepstakes and Skill Contests

To enter a sweepstake or skill contest, you will be asked to provide your e-mail address, mailing address and phone number. This information is needed to notify the winners and is shared with the organisation providing the prize, to allow them to provide you with further information on their products, but it is not shared with any other party.

We will use your e-mail address to notify you of news. programs and events that we think you will find of interest (unless you requested not to receive information when you entered the sweepstakes or skill contest).

How can you unsubscribe?

If you'd rather not receive news and updates via e-mail, simply:

Click on the unsubscribe function on any newsletter you receive. Just a single click and you won't receive that newsletter again. This is the simplest way to unsubscribe. It is instantaneous.

Do NOT send the newsletter back with a comment, the email from which it came is part of our automated mailing list system. There is a contact us form on each newsletter, you can ask us to unsubscribe you via that form, however that procedure may take a few days as it has to be human processed.

We do not specifically target children to register. However, should someone register on our site and tell us they are 12 or younger (where age is asked) they will not be added to our database or sent any information.
