Reduce plastic for ocean's sake, Industry takes lead role in SCIBS
There are now 315 exhibitors, more than 50 of them brand new to the show, as well as exhibitors from around the country and the world. If the sun keeps up, organisers anticipate reaching and perhaps exceeding 40,000 visitors.
Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show - one week to go Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show
Most importantly, industry and stakeholders were given the opportunity to address all the issues and attributes associated with Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, when Mulpha Australia invited two groups composed of industry, exhibitors, government, tenants and residents to share their views in this unprecedented forum.
The result? Many more industry proponents are anxious to get onboard and express their opinions so some more meetings will be arranged, AND it was decided that a committee formed from some of the industry's most dynamic and driven should be formed immediately post-boat show to build on the show's assets and direct it into the future.
MarineBusiness-World has Booth 192 in, you guessed it - the MarineBusiness-World.com pavilion. Look forward to seeing you there. As it's budget time for most of us, it's an important time to look at where the money goes. You have to reach the the best possible audience and these days that means online. Just think how many of us will have our smart phones on at the Show, using it not just for calls but for Internet access. To drive your dollar further make sure you read our article on Advertising Budgets.
We also feature several important stories this week, including a look at the current state and all the terrible stats on the plastic sullying our seas. Ian Thomson, founder of Ocean Crusaders spares no details when he describes the damage caused by the TRILLION plastic bags we use every year.
Plastic in the sea
