In overseas news, it's one extreme to the other. The RS:X World Championships are underway in Denmark and the Extreme 40s have just finished their event in Kiel. Yann Guichard and his crew on Groupe Edmond de Rothschild won with a race to spare.
The TP52s and the GP42s have just concluded racing in the Audi MedCup at Cartagena and the much smaller Optimists battled at the IODA Teams Racing Championship.
The Etchells World title has gone to John Bertrand from Australia, the Finn Silver Cup was won in San Francisco while for the 18ft Skiffs it was crash and burn on San Francisco Bay (great pictures by the way).
Don't miss Gladwell's Line: 2014 America's Cup or the great gallery's of images from our various contributing photgraphers including Chris Ray, Erik Simonson, Ingrid Abery, George Bekris and many others.
Now we are looking forward to the Laser's at Hayling Island. Slingsby wants more breeze, maybe not quite there was yesterday, but maybe more than he will see today. More like Goodo's conditions.
We have so much more dinghy and sailing news, so we hope you can settle back and enjoy this week's offering.
